Jacob is getting to be so big. He is almost 17 months going on 17 it seems like somedays. Above, he is reading the menu just like everyone else at the table. Below, he is thinking very hard about...something. I wish I could get inside of that little brain of his sometimes so I could figure out just what he's thinking.

Like father, like son. Above, Jacob is sitting in a blow up chair watching his Baby Einstein movie. Below, he is wearing a shirt that his daddy wore back when he was Jacob's age. The front of the shirt says "Kid for rent, real cheap!" Somedays it's the truth. Especially when his Granny, Grandpa and Great Granny spoil him rotten for a week in Arkansas and he is the center of EVERYONES attention. Coming home and trying to get back into the routine of things is not very easy.

Jacob had a wonderful Christmas! He loved opening presents...and everyones, not just his own. He especially loved the tool set that Jon got him. I do believe he will follow in his daddy's footsteps and be a great Mr. Fix-it!

Last but not least his biggest present this year... a pony on springs. Granny and Grandpa got it for him and at first he wanted nothing to do with it. After a few days of watching all the adults make fools of themselves trying to get him to ride it, he decided to give it a try. He would only stay on it for a minute or two then. Now, I have to take him off of it because I get tired of waiting for him to be ready.
Thank you all for helping make this Christmas full of memories. It was very hard without daddy around but we kept him in our hearts and were able to have a good time because of our wonderful friends and family! We love you!
