February Fun

This year Jacob had his first little Valentine's Day party at "school". He came home with a box full of candy and cards. He is still really enjoying the daycare, especially now that they have a sand/gravel box to play in! For mommy, it just makes a lot more laundry.

He has finally stopped crawling on top of the table (and somehow never fell off when he was getting on). Now he just thinks he's such a big boy and gets up in the chairs.

One Saturday, I was cleaning out the fridge. I pulled the 2 bottom drawers out and left one on the floor while I was washing the other one out. Jacob never misses an opportunity to climb inside of something. (Notice the lovely pink necklace he has on. A friend left it at our house and he takes it on and off all the time.)

He inherited his daddy's big hands. He tries to carry everything at one time instead of making several trips. It is very frustrating to him most of the time.

Gramma, Aunt Kelli and Caleb came to visit the last week of February (Grandad and Uncle Jay came that weekend). Both of the boys ended up sick, one right after the other. The week wasn't quite what we had planned but the adults had fun anyway...even with very little sleep.

By Sunday morning when the family had to leave, both of the boys were finally feeling better. They sure did enjoy each other those few hours of playtime. I know it looks like Jacob is tackling his cousin (which I'm sure he will do plenty of in the years to come) but believe it or not he was patting Caleb's back telling him "ah k, ah k" (translation-it's okay). They can be so sweet sometimes....sometimes!

It was SO good to see you when we were there. Our boys sure are precious! I'm looking forward to making many more memories (and probably rules for those boys) in the future. Love you, Sis.
