We went camping in NM for the Easter weekend. Thankfully, Sunday turned out to be a beautiful day. Jacob was a pro at egg hunting, he would shake them to see if there was something in them then spike them into his bucket. The only problem with that was that there were hard boiled eggs too....not many of them made it back into the fridge.
Daddy was home for Easter so Jacob of course made him help. The whole 2 weeks Jon was home, Jacob didn't want to leave his side (which made for a very hard day when we had to send him back).
We tried to get some pictures of Jacob and his cousin Caleb after they were done hunting, but they were much more interested in opening all the eggs.
The whole weekend was wonderful. Jacob enjoyed it all, especially riding the four wheeler. He didn't want to get off. I think he would have rode around on it the whole time if we would've let him. By the end, he sure thought he was big enough to drive it himself.
Monday got pretty cold so we tried to keep the boys inside the camper and out of the weather. They spent most of the morning chasing after each other...and oh what joy it gave them.
As much as they like to pick on each other (and by that I mean telling each other no just to get a reaction out of the other one), they really do love each other and are getting big enough to actually play together.
What a wonderful Easter with lots of memories made.
