We took a short vacation to NM the first weekend in June and had a good time. Kylie was down from Colorado and Jacob loved having her read to him. That is still one of his favorite things to do, and Kylie enjoyed reading to him too. She is quite the reader. She will be 9 in August and is already reading on a 6th grade level.
Jacob and Caleb are finally getting used to each other. They had a great time chasing after each other...
...and sneaking into Grandad's garden sprinkler!
We went for our first swim of the summer while we were there. Jacob didn't want to let go but he eventually started kicking his little legs....
...but he wasn't too happy when I dunked him. After he calmed down and stopped being mad at his mean ole mommy, he put his face in himself and laughed about it.
We also went to White Sands for the first time and Jacob wasn't quite sure what to do with that big sand box. Caleb showed him the ropes and he had a great time scooping the sand in and out of the buckets....
... and then climbing in and out of the bucket.
Then we buried sister in the sand!
