Jacob's Adventure

Granny and Grandpa ("Papa") came to our house the first weekend in July and stayed for a few days. Jacob enjoyed having a man around for a while. He wouldn't let "Papa" out of his sight. Granny and Grandpa took Jacob back to New Mexico with them when they left. Jacob stayed in Abq. for a few days and was spoiled rotten. Then, Gramma, Aunt Kelli and Caleb picked him up and went to Great Grandmother and Grandad's house for a day. Jacob took after his daddy and went right to the candy dish to sneak a snack.
Then it was down to Las Cruces where he got plenty more spoiling from Gramma and Grandad. He enjoyed all the stuffed animals in the spare bedroom especially Kylie's big duck pillow. Gramma went to check on him one evening after he had been in bed for about 30 minutes and this is how she found him.
Caleb and Jacob really enjoyed each other this visit. They played and ran after each other and tumbled off the bed together. Give them a couple more years and they are going to be nothing but TROUBLE when they are together!
Uncle Jay, Aunt Kelli and Caleb brought Jacob back home after his 2 week adventure was over. They got a few more days to play together then life went back to 'normal'. Jacob woke up the morning after they left and went to the spare bedroom, opened the door and said "OH NO!" He was a little bummed that his buddy left.
Jacob had a great time in NM, and mommy had a great time getting to relax and take a much needed break.
