Baby Haley

This is Monday night, getting ready to head to the hospital.

Finally Tuesday night, Haley Elizabeth decided to come on into the world. She was 8 lbs 15 oz and 20 3/4 inches long.

Auntie Jenn brought Jacob in to see her and he absolutely loves her...

...if you can't tell by that smile!

Haley got her thumb in her mouth pretty quickly. I'm not sure if she'll be a thumb sucker or not. Shes gotten a hold of it a few times but not for long.

Jacob will be such a good big brother. He already helps by bringing me a diaper and the baby wipes.
Here is the end of him singing Jesus Loves Me to Haley. He sang the whole song but by the time we could get the camera out and recording, we just caught the end of it.

Haley and I stayed in the hospital until Thurday so here is another visit from big brother.
And here is Haley, her first night home.
She had a check up yesterday and weighed in at 8 lbs 12 oz so she is doing great. All babies lose weight at first before they start putting it back on. We expected (that's us and the doctor) for her to lose more than she did. She likes to eat so I don't think she's going to have any problem keeping and putting on weight.

P. S. Several have asked what we want or need for Haley. We did go ahead and register at target so you can go to target.com and check out the registry.

She is so precious. Our first
great granddaughter, praise the
Lord for such sweet babies.
Jacob is going to be a wonderful
brother just like uncle Tommy was
for you.
Love you Granny K.

Congratulations! Haley is precious and I can tell Jacob loves her so much. Her hair looks darker than I thought it would. I'm so glad you all are doing well. Sending you love and hugs. :)

Jacob's hair was darker too when he was first born. Not quite that dark but her hair will lighten up I'm sure.
