Earlier this month Granny K and Aunt Terry made a day trip up to meet Jace. Guess who didn't take a single picture that day? If you come to visit, or we come to see you, please remind me to take pictures! Granny K got Haley this little tea set and she LOVES it! Thank you Granny K! When Gramma and Grandad came to visit later in the month there were lots of tea parties going on.
Here is a picture of our sweet boy (Haley will often tell me, "He's such a sweet boy")
Taking a breather from tickling...
...and back at it.

Jacob made a circle of ducks and bugs around Jace "so that no one would bump him".

Jacob is a good big brother!
I found a little picture frame that says " I love my Daddy". So, for father's day, I tried to get a picture of the three kids. Here are a few out takes...

Below is the one that ended up in the frame.

This week Jacob had his tonsils out. Here he is watching cartoons waiting for the nurse to come get him.

Using the bathroom before she came...he though his outfit was pretty funny.
After the surgery, he wasn't too happy. He had a pretty bad headache from the anesthesia. It took him about 30 minutes to be able to talk to me...I don't think he was quite sure where he was. Once he realized I was there and what was going on he kept telling me "I just want to go home!"
He told me "I hate this place, it's not so fun" and " I don't ever want to come back here". Poor boy! The nurse said he was a GREAT patient. He was out of that hospital bed as soon as he had come to his senses. He sat in my lap for a few minutes but was really squirmy. He pulled out his IV but the nurse just left it out. After that he didn't want me to hold him, he just wanted to get his clothes back on and sit in the chair.
He kept this orange popsicle down so we got to go home. (can't have anything red because if you cough anything up you want to be able to distinguish between blood and food/drinks. Good thing I made him red jello the night before huh?)
When we got in the car, he asked me where his tonsil were and what they looked like. I guess he wanted to see them. We googled tonsils later that day so he could see a picture of them and he thought it was a good idea for the doctor to just throw them away.
