Shivaree

Last weekend was the annual Shivaree here in town. Basically it is a teeny tiny fair. They didn't have rides this year because it was at the park and there just isn't enough room for all that. Jacob had a good time any way. First he enjoyed a grape/strawberry snow cone.

I think half of it ended up on his shirt.
He played on the playground most of the time. He'd go up the ladder.....
...then down the slide...then back again.
Then we headed over to the "Bouncy Castle". He had a ball jumping around. We got there right at the beginning of the evening so he ended up getting to jump all by himself.

To end the evening we had to share a funnel cake (and yes we had dinner between the snowcone and the funnel cake)! As you can tell by the powdered sugar all over his shorts he really enjoyed it.

On the way to the car he had to walk the entire length of the wall that went over the little creek. He was actually ready to just get down in the creek.

It was a fun evening...hot, but fun! Hopefully next year they'll be able to hold it at the big activities complex again so that Jacob can enjoy some rides.
