While the soldiers were in the field, families got to come out one day to see a tiny bit of what they do while they are out training. We got to see a live fire demonstration and Daddy got to show us his bradley and his gear. We also got to feel the wonderful heat that they have to live in for weeks at a time. I don't know how they deal with it so well but Family Bradley Day gave me a new appreciation for some of the stuff Jon has to go through.
The next 6 pictures Jacob and Daddy are in the turret (sp?). Thats where the Bradley Commander and the Gunner sit.

The last 2, Jacob is in the back of the Bradley where the dismounted soldiers ride.

It was a pretty neat experience!

Thanks Beth for the update. Yes we don't have a clue what all our men go through wars. The pic's are so cute. Of course Jacob and daddy too. Love Granny K.
