1,2,3!

August is just flying by and once again it's been a month since I've posted. I've been horrible at taking pictures but here it goes... Jacob and Daddy went to Wal-Mart one afternoon while I was at work and Daddy actually got off early. I had a wonderful suprise waiting for me when I got home. Jacob said "It's a suprise for you mama". My boys can be so sweet!Daddy has been very busy lately with work. Late nights and in and out of the field makes for a little boy who wants to do EVERYTHING with and like his daddy. Here they are watching T.V. Daddy and Jacob worked very hard one weekend to get the boat working so we could go out on the river for a while. Of course when we actually did get to go out on the boat I forgot my camera. Sorry, no cute pics of Jacob in his life jacket having a ball.
Jacob still loves to read...and once you start reading to him, he doesn't ever want you to stop! Daddy is reading to Jacob in his new big boy room. Jacob got a new (well new to us) bunk bed and he is loving it. As soon as we get his stuff on the walls I'll take some pics so you can see his big boy room that he is very proud to be in.
Now for the big 3 year old. He had no problems getting his presents open. The little perfectionist that he is (which he gets from his daddy) couldn't leave one little piece of tape or paper on any of the presents. This is his race track from Granny and Grandpa that he's opening.
Block puzzles from Gramma and Grandad,
and Little People ABC animals. He was asking "Please I open my new animals....PLEASE"

I took him to pick out a birthday cake the day before his birthday. Surprise, surprise he picked Diego. He wanted the cupcake one so we all had one on his birthday and took the rest to school for him to share with his friends for snack. He came home that day with green frosting all over his shirt.
Daddy had to help him blow out the candles because he wouldn't get close enough for his little breath to put the flames out.

Yummy!

YUMMY!!

Here he is enjoying his race track...

...and his animals.

Jacob has learned how to count using his fingers...I mean he actually says the number with the right amount of fingers up....so anytime you ask him how old he is this is how he does it...(plus a little song for you too because he was enjoying the camera).
