Lately....

Here's what we've been up to lately.

1. Trying to keep up with our little climber... ...who thinks she can do everything her big brother can do.

2. Playing the piano. I sat Haley on the piano bench for the first time the other day. Now she wants to play the piano all the time (especially if Jacob is playing).
I guess it's pretty exhausting!

3. Playing Army. Jon brought this beanie home the other day and Jacob said "Now I'm an army man like you dad!" At Jacob's school christmas gift exchange he got a package of "little army men" (toy soldiers) so now, we play army alot.

4. Entertaining cat (no, not the cat...just cat. Technically her name is Stripes but I can't remember the last time she was called anything but cat).

5. Learning to play together...which is VERY difficult sometimes.

6. Putting things on our heads and around our necks. Haley has figured out how to get her necklace around her head and tries to get hats on her head. She usually doesn't get it on quite right but Jacob always helps her!

6. Riding the horse. Haley has finally decided that Jacob's horse is ok. At first she wouldn't go near it. Then, she got to where she would go touch his leg. After that she would push and push and push his leg until it made noise (it makes galloping noises and plays home on the range). However, if you tried to put her on it she would SCREAM. Yesterday, she went up to the horse and lifted her hands up. So, I put her on it and she stayed on for probably 20 minutes.
