Jacob and Haley

Finally got around to getting some pictures of our handsome little 3 year old and spoiled rotten little 5 week old. Could just be me but I think they're about the cutest kids I've ever seen :)

Ok, Haley is actually 6 1/2 weeks old now but these were taken about a week ago. Jacob is getting to be a little man. He thinks he can do everything by himself and he wants everything done his way. Don't know where he gets that from!Haley and Jacob got tired of mommy trying to get a good picture. Haley's already learned how to give "the look" as you can see below. Ha. She doesn't smile for us much yet and when she does it's hard to catch. So here she is talking and kind of smiling at Gramma. I made the mistake of telling Jacob when Haley was about a week old that she couldn't be in water until her bellybutton was better. As soon as it was he was asking for her to take a bath with him. Haley was finally able to take a bath with Jacob since I found this little.....thing (not sure what it's called) for Haley to lay on in the bathtub.
Jacob likes to share his bath for a few minutes but is glad they she can't stay in as long as he does. He likes his play time in the bathtub and baby sister kind of gets in the way of that.
Haley is finally getting a little more use to being in the world. Yesterday and today have been great days so far. Alot less fussing and a little more contentment out of this little girl.My mom kept several little dresses and outfits that I wore as a baby. We weren't sure if she'd get to wear any of them because we are born in opposite seasons but here she is in one of them.
Things are starting to get a little more calm around here. Next week, I'm sure, will upset this families little world as mommy will be going back to work. Please pray that we all transition well. The kids will stay home with Gramma and Gram Gram the first week and then will have to go to daycare. So the next several weeks are going to be difficult.
