Seaworld and September

One weekend in September we went to Sea World in San Antonio with our friends Dennis and Claudia. We made the decision to go early in the week but as the week went on, we were afraid it was going to be rainy. We decided to take our chances and went anyway. We were so glad we did! It was a little over cast so the sun wasn't just beating down on us but it didn't rain at all. It was the perfect day to go.

There was a pretty big kids area there. Jacob decided he wanted to climb up this jungle gym type of thing.
It took him awhile, but he made it! Here he is coming back down.

This was a big pirate ship.

Jacob took a picture of the Mountain Dew that Dennis was not supposed to be sharing with him. He got a few sips anyway.
Haley and Daddy waiting for the sea lion show to start.

Dennis, Daddy and Jacob sat right in the middle of the SOAK zone for the Shamu show. Claudia, Haley and I sat much further back...at least 3 row behind the splash zone. The funny thing is if Claudia would have moved about 6 inches to her left she would have ended up soaked and the boys didn't have a drop of water on them. Everyone around them got soaked but some how they missed it. They were a little disappointed.
I didn't get any good Shamu pictures Haley was a little cranky during the show.
Later the boys went on the log ride. Jacob was a little scared going down and is not sure that he wants to do that again. I think Daddy had convinced him that it was fun and to give another try next time.

Here are a few random pictures from September...
Haley was very proud of herself when she figured out the piano actually made noise.

Jacob showed her the kitchen cabinet that it was ok for her to get into. She gets everything out of it in about 5 seconds.
Jacob and Haley are really starting to play together and they are so funny to watch. Jacob is the sweetest big brother in the world!

Haley is sooooo precious. I haven't seen her since you were here. When can we catch up?
