1 year

Well Haley made it to her first birthday. She's quite the stubborn little girl. Like I've heard others say, it's a good thing God made babies so cute cause otherwise they might not make it to their first birthday! She is hard to handle lots of times but we wouldn't trade our Haley Bug for the world. A few Haley facts:

*At her one year well baby check up she was 27 lbs and 29 1/2 inches long (and had to get 6 shots).
*She is completely off the bottle and drinks whole milk. Unlike Jacob, she actually likes it really well and drinks about 3 sippy cups full a day.
*Still takes her paci, mostly at bed/nap time. I'm just not quite ready for that battle yet!
*She is quite the little walker. She was taking a few wobbly steps by her birthday and with in a few weeks she was off. It is now her chosen mode of transportation. (video at the end)
*She LOVES her big brother!
*She loves fruit, not quite as much as big brother though.
*She is a pro at saying "UH-OH"
*She goes down for the night very easily how ever it's usually a major struggle to get her down for a nap (Kel, I understand the frustration now).
*She loves to dance. Any time she hears a good beat she swings her arms and or does a little bouncy dance.
*She is completely a mama's girl...until daddy is home!
*She makes this funny little scrunchy, smiley face (usually when she knows she's doing something she's not supposed to). One of these days I'll be able to catch it on camera.
*Her favorite place to play right now is her big brother's room. For now, Jacob doesn't mind but I'm sure one day he won't be so happy about it.
*She loves her baby dolls. When she sees one she'll pick it up, hug it and rocks it side to side while patting its back. It is the cutest thing!
